Hardie McLaren

Hardie McLaren

Founder / Senior Instrumentation and Control System Engineer

Hardie has 20 years’ of proven experience working in a broad range of industrial industries in a diverse range of technical roles, the majority of this has been working in the oil & gas industry as staff for production facilities supporting both onshore and offshore assets. He understands first hand what it takes to ensure operational process plants are safe, reliable, efficient and optimised.

He has expert engineering skills and knowledge in field instrumentation, analytical instrumentation, fire & gas detection, fire & gas mapping, flow metering, process control, functional safety, control systems, safety instrumented systems, brownfield and greenfield projects, commissioning, and operational plant environments.

He has worked in a variety of industry aspects from major LNG construction projects, commissioning complex facilities, maintenance, facility engineering, turbo machinery, brownfield and greenfield project development, project management and right through to concept engineering. He has worked in New Zealand, Western Australia, and Europe.

Hardie is a TÜV Functional Safety Engineer, he is currently a member of an International Society of Automation (ISA) SME panel supporting the development of a new fire and gas engineering certification program.

Jefferson Potgieter

Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Jefferson is an Instrumentation and Control Engineer with an extensive background in the mining industry and experience in the oil & gas, electronics, and drone industries.

He has detailed knowledge of both operational and project management aspects of instrumentation and control system engineering. He has extensive experience in project delivery, working across all project phases including feasibility studies, engineering design and commissioning.

He has been involved with EPCM projects for mines across Africa, which included greenfield and brownfield projects, and feasibility projects, including lead I&C engineer roles.

Jefferson is passionate about improving safety, and efficiency, and improving automation in process control systems. He is a Chartered Member (CMEngNZ) with Engineering New Zealand.

Myf Ruakere

Business Support Professional

Myf has over eight years’ experience working in a professional business environment across New Zealand and Australia, including business operations and sales management.

Bringing a wealth of experience in business development and project coordination, Myf also has a strong background in administration and support function roles.

Successfully leading strategic initiatives, Myf has earned recognition for innovation where she has led with a client focused approach.

A Taranaki local, Myf spends her spare time exploring the outdoors with her dog Ziggy.

Indu Narahenpitage

Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Indu completed his Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Auckland.

He is now an emerging professional with a passion for automation, focusing on developing his skills in instrumentation and control engineering by assisting with fire and gas mapping, functional safety, I&C engineering, and project design.

Indu is dedicated to expanding his expertise in industrial automation and continuously improving his skill set to contribute effectively to innovative engineering solutions.

Indu is a member with Engineering New Zealand.
